MARIST Brothers High School and Suva Grammar School are the new champions of the Suva Zone Two athletics competition, which ended yesterday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
Marist took out the boys tally with 31 gold, 23 silver and 20 bronze medals, amassing a total of 74 medals after two days of robust competition.
Suva Grammar finished second in the boys division with 17 gold, 18 silver and 14 bronze medals while Jai Narayan College finished third with two gold, one silver and six bronze medals.
Suva Grammar cemented the top spot in the girls division with 29 gold, 17 silver and 14 bronze – 60 medals altogether.
Saint Joseph’s Secondary School came in second with 15 gold, 19 silver and 16 bronze medals while Nuku Secondary School was placed third with two gold, five silver and two bronze medals.
Meanwhile, the official games torch for the 2025 Fiji Finals was lit yesterday.
