Its D-Day – 4.1 tonnes of ice to go up in flames today

The Fiji Police Force will destroy 4.1 tonnes of methamphetamine this morning at the Dignified Cremations in Davuilevu, Nausori.

Members of the media have been invited to witness the event.

The Lautoka High Court had ordered on December 13, 2024, for the drugs to be destroyed.

Representatives expected to be present will be from Ministry of Justice, Office of Director Public Prosecutions, Legal Counsels, Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Ministry of Health and Medical Services, Ministry of Environment, Energy Fiji Ltd, Dignified Crematorium, International Observers, regional partners, Nasinu Town Council and selected members from the community.
