THE Fiji Public Trustee Corporation Pte Ltd (FPTCL) has appointed chartered accountant Ajay Singh as its new chief executive officer.
With a strong focus on improving service delivery and fostering organisational resilience, Mr Singh’s leadership is expected to guide FPTCL towards its strategic goals and ensure the Corporation continues to provide excellent and efficient services for all its stakeholders.
The FPTCL stated Mr Singh brought with him more than 20 years of extensive experience in finance, governance, and organisational leadership across various sectors, including public, private and non-governmental organisations.
He has held key leadership positions, including CEO of the Agricultural Marketing Authority (AMA), head of finance at the Ministry of Agriculture, chief financial officer of Wakaya Group, and financial management roles with organisations such as WWF.
“I am honoured to be appointed the CEO of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation. I look forward to collaborating with the team to enhance FPTCL’s services, improve financial transparency and ensure we continue to meet the needs of the people of Fiji,” Mr Singh said in a statement.
FPTCL board chairperson Liliana Pareti-Warid said the board of directors have full confidence in Mr Singh’s leadership.
“We are excited to welcome Mr Singh to the FPTCL team. His vast experience and strategic vision will help drive the corporation towards continued success,” Ms Pareti-Warid said.
“His leadership is critical to the advancement of FPTCL’s mission of providing transparent and effective services to the people of Fiji.”
