Police in the North are trying to locate hybrid taxi that was stolen yesterday and used in a robbery in Savusavu this morning.
Police said at around 11pmlast night, the taxi with registration LT 7072 was hired by one I-Taukei male at the Naodamu taxi base in Labasa.
A short while later, two other male i-Taukei boarded the taxi, and all three suspects headed towards Delailabasa, said Fiji Police.
The taxi was forcefully taken over and the taxi driver was abandoned at Baloca, Dreketi.
Police said this morning, the hybrid bluish taxi was used in a robbery at Sewaks shop in Vatudamu, Navava in Savusavu.
