Fiji’s contingent was confirmed by Weightlifting Fiji coach Henry Elder during an interview with The Fiji Times.
Elder highlighted the importance of the camp for the athletes’ growth and preparation for future competitions.

The training camp and seminar aim to enhance the technical and tactical skills of athletes while equipping coaches with advanced knowledge.
It serves as a key initiative to rebuild the momentum of weight-lifting in Oceania and improve Fiji’s standing on the international stage.
