The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua defeated Rugby Football Club Los Angeles 33-26 in their first preseason trial match.
The teams were tied 19-19 at halftime after trading tries, with Drua’s Isikeli Basiyalo and Tuidraki Samusamuvodre among the scorers.
In the second half, Los Angeles regained the lead, but Drua fought back with a try from Isoa Tuwai. Motikiai Murray then scored the winning try, converted by Ravula, to secure the victory.
