AS the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prepare for the 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season, their off-field preparations have been given a major boost thanks to TeamUp Fiji.
The team building experts are working closely with the Drua during their camp in Kadavu, strengthening bonds among players and staff through innovative and engaging activities.
Stu Robertson, managing director of TeamUp Fiji, spoke about rewarding partnership with the Drua.
“It’s an amazing environment to come into and be part of,” he said.
“We’re really excited to bring our range of innovative team building events to help strengthen their relationships and team culture moving forward.”
Designed to foster positive relationship, the activities focus on key skills such as communication, planning, time management and organisation, all of which translate directly to the rugby field.
“These events give the team an experience that’s a little different from their usual training,” Robertson said.
“It helps build relationships they can take on the field, and we hope it strengthens their culture for the season ahead.”
When asked about the challenges faced while working with the Drua, Robertson was full of praise for the team’s attitude.
“The boys have brought amazing attitude. They’ve really enjoyed doing something different and are taking positive experiences out of it.”
TeamUp Fiji is the official and executive team building provider for the Fijian Drua.
Their involvement ensures the Drua are not only physically prepared but also mentally and emotionally united as they tackle the challenges of the upcoming Super Rugby season.
