The Fiji Police Force states it is carrying out and investigation into the death of a senior manager at the Crowne Plaza in Wailoaloa, Nadi.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime Mesake Waqa said Police will keep an open mind and will investigate to establish the cause of the death.
The 41-year-old was found motionless with physical injuries to his body inside a bathroom on Saturday morning.
“We will not be drawn into speculation and assure the victim’s family of conduct of a thorough investigation,” said ACP Waqa.
The Fiji Police Force is calling on for everyone’s patience and will comment once the investigation is complete.
Yesterday, Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa General Manager, Shaun Parsons had stated the Police had advised them there is no criminal investigation in regard to the death of the senior staff member.
