Former President thanks RFMF for support during his term

Former President of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has acknowledged the RFMF for their support during his three-year term.

Speaking at the farewell dining-out in Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Nabua, Ratu Wiliame thanked the Commander RFMF, Maj-Gen Jone Kalouniwai, and the entire RFMF for the great initiative and outstanding effort in promoting restoration and reconciliation within the RFMF and the nation.

“Let’s continue to uphold the RFMF ethos—the Dina, Dodonu, and Savasava and keep on working together for a better tomorrow,” he said.

“We should also continue to honor the institute that we serve.”

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka; the former President of Fiji, Brigadier-General Ratu Epeli Nailatikau; and the Minister for Rural, Maritime Development, and Disaster Management, Sakiasi Ditoka was also present at the dining out.
