SOUTH Pacific Business Development clients will be able to access helpful financial tips and advice following the launch of the organisation’s new short code dialing and subscription service yesterday.
SPBD partnered with Vodafone Fiji Ltd to introduce the new service short code 5550, which was designed to improve communication and customer service to SPBD clients.
The organisation has been operating in Fiji since 2011, offering assistance through small microfinance loans to women.
It uses Vodafone’s M-PAiSA service to disburse loans and collect payments from clients through the mobile payment platform.
Vodafone eCommerce and corporate affairs head Shailendra Prasad said they were proud of their association with the organisation that aimed to empower women from disadvantaged communities with the opportunity to start, grow and operate sustainable income-generating micro-enterprises.
“Accessibility is a key factor for any organisation and given Vodafone’s coverage across Fiji, it makes it easier for SPBD’s current and potential clients to communicate easily.”
Other services that will be available through the short code dialing include balance check enquiries and a medium to register complaints so that it could be formally recorded and tracked for faster resolution.
