Fiji is getting a new Guardian-class patrol boat, RFNS Timo, from Australia.

Pio Tikoduadua, Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration; Permanent Secretary Mason Smith and Deputy RFMF Commander Humphrey Tawake received this state-of-the-art vessel in a ceremony today in Perth.

The RFNS Timo will enhance Fiji’s maritime security, support border protection, and safeguard our natural resources, stated a Ministry statement.

“This gift symbolizes the deep bonds and shared commitment to regional stability and prosperity between our nations.”
