Ubayd Haider to be accorded final rites tomorrow

The Fiji Muslim League (FML) has announced late boxer Ubayd Haider will be accorded final rites tomorrow.

This will be at the Raralevu cemetery at 8:30pm.

Janaza of Br Ubayd Hayder will be held on Tue 12th Nov at 8.30pm @ Raralevu Muslim cemetery, Nausori,” stated FML.

Haider, formerly known as Nathan Singh, lost by TKO to Australia-based Runqi Zhou during their IBO Asia Pacific Super Featherweight title fight on 26 October.

The 25-year-old boxer collapsed after the fight and was admitted to Lautoka Aspen Hospital on the same night and had been in hospital since then, until his death yesterday.
