THE prestigious 54th R.C. Manubhai Ba Golf Open will be held at the FSC Ba Golf Club on November 23-24, drawing top golfers from across the region for a highly competitive 36-hole stroke event.
The event promises excitement and fierce competition for both amateur and professional players.
This year’s tournament, sponsored by R.C. Manubhai, “The Most Trusted Name in Hardware,” offers over $15,000 in prizes for amateur golfers, making it one of the most attractive events on the local golf calendar.
Professionals will also have a lot to compete for, with $7,000 in cash prizes up for grabs.
For a registration fee of $100, participants will receive a T-shirt, lunch on both days, and entry to a Saturday evening cocktail, providing an opportunity for golfers to relax and mingle off the course.
The entry deadline is November 20, 2024, with spots limited to the first 100 registered players.
Ba Golf Club captain Asish Chand explained about the rule.
“Players must adhere to specific conditions, including wearing the sponsor’s T-shirt on Sunday, and reporting 15 minutes before tee-off to avoid a two-stroke penalty.
“The draw for the event will be published in local newspapers and on the Ba Golf Club’s Facebook page. Notably, the course will close on November 22, ensuring optimal playing conditions for the tournament.”
