Update: 3:40PM A 19-year-old Ba resident is the latest person to die on our roads.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed the 19-year-old died after sustaining serious injuries from a collision that occurred on Monday night in Lovu, Lautoka.
“Six people including a passenger in the van was admitted in hospital following the accident. While three were discharged earlier in the week, the 19-year-old remained admitted with two others,” she said.
“Unfortunately the 19-year-old passed away this morning while the other two remain in hospital in stable condition.”
