Police uprooted more than 15,000 plants believed to be marijuana from a farm in the province of Cakaudrove in Vanua Levu.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu said the plants were discovered yesterday at the Naqeletoka farming area.
“Investigations are underway to determine the owner of the farm,” he said.
“Plants seized ranged from 15cm to 1.5meters and all have been sent for analysis.”
