Efforts by the iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) to strengthen financial management capabilities will be complemented by its newly-launched Microsoft Business Central Financial System, an upgrade from the Microsoft Navision Dynamics (Navision) that was implemented in 2018.
This, it stated, is a significant milestone in its commitment to modernise and enhance financial operations.
The new $114,000 system by DXC Technology is expected to improve process efficiency and offer seamless integration with other Microsoft products, such as Office 365 and Power BI, allowing TLTB staff to operate more effectively and securely across all departments.
TLTB’s chief executive officer Solomoni Nata said the launch of the upgraded Microsoft Business Central Financial System is a testament to the company board’s ongoing commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
“We expect this system to significantly improve our process efficiency and strengthen our financial management capabilities,” Mr Nata said.
“This upgrade marks a key step in TLTB’s digital transformation journey, providing us with a state-of-the-art platform that not only enhances our day-to-day operations but also positions us to better serve our stakeholders in the long term”
This initiative was launched on Thursday last week by chairman of the board of trustees and Minister for iTaukei Affairs Ifereimi Vasu at the board’s latest meeting.
