Rosie Holidays Fiji managing director Tony Whitton has commended the organisers of the George ‘Fiji’ Veikoso Homecoming Concert as the two-day concert added a significant economic benefit, with an estimated $1million injected into the economy.
Mr Whitton said they were amazed by the professionalism of the organisers, as they not only inspired many who had attended the concert, but also noticed an inflow of visitors who came in from Australia, New Zealand, Samoa and Vanuatu.
“Not only did it provide a delight for the community, there was also a very obvious economic benefit,” Mr Whitton said.

“As a business, we commend George ‘Fiji’ Veikoso to have the vision to really set this concert up.”
