As Fiji gears up for one of the most anticipated music events of the year, Bounty Stir It Up 2024, a buzz of excitement surrounds emerging star Donell Lewis.

Scheduled to perform on September 28, the South Auckland artist of Samoan descent is ready to show his unique blend of R&B, hip-hop, and pop.

Donell’s journey into the music world began unexpectedly at the age of 15, when he discovered his passion while crafting songs in his garage.

His debut single, All Night, featuring EN-V, put him on the map in 2010, but it was the lessons learned during his brief stint with G.E.M that truly shaped his path.

After regrouping, he used platforms such as YouTube to establish his presence and connect with fans.

A breakthrough moment came when producer DLove recognised Donell’s talent, leading to a pivotal meeting with DNK World Music.

“This became a turning point in his career, enabling him to collaborate with established artists and producers, and ultimately gaining significant recognition in the Pacific music scene,” said events co-ordinator, Onisimo Moi Vatuwaqa.

Donell’s notable achievement came in 2015 when he was awarded the Phillip Fuemana Award for Most Promising Pacific Artist.

Beyond just music, Donell Lewis is committed to authenticity, drawing inspiration from his cultural roots while aiming to inspire fellow Pacific artists to pursue their dreams.

With a growing online presence and a unique sound, he is ready to make waves. For fans attending Bounty Stir It Up 2024, witnessing Donell’s live performance promises to be a memorable experience as he embraces the stage and connects with audiences.
