Fiji is about to welcome an exciting new artist in Criimson, an emerging talent from Timor-Leste, who will take the stage at the Bounty Stir It Up Music Festival later this month.
Known for his captivating voice and heartfelt lyrics, Criimson is making waves in the world of pop, R&B, and contemporary Timorese music.
Born and raised in Timor-Leste, Criimson’s musical journey began at a young age.
At 19, he burst onto the scene as a member of the boy band All About Life where he quickly captivated audiences with his energetic performances.
“This experience allowed him to hone his craft, later transitioning to a successful solo career that showcases his unique blend of contemporary sounds with traditional Timorese elements,” events co-ordinator Onisimo Moi Vatuwaqa said.
Criimson’s music resonates deeply with listeners, exploring themes of love, identity, and cultural heritage.
His rich portfolio includes original songs and collaborations with notable Timorese artists, earning him recognition in national music awards and spotlighting him as a sought-after songwriter.
“More than just an artist, Criimson acts as a cultural ambassador, promoting the beauty of Timorese music and encouraging fellow artists to thrive.”
With his upcoming performance at the Stir It Up Music Festival on September 28 at the Vou Hub on Denarau Rd, fans can expect an unforgettable experience that celebrates both his cultural roots and contemporary sounds.
The festival kicks off at the VOU Hub with VIP access starting at 2pm and general admission at 4pm, running until midnight.
