There appears to be a confusion regarding the winner of the Miss Universe Fiji (MUF) title after two conflicting statements were released to the public.
After Manshika Prasad was crowned on Friday night, a statement circulated yesterday said she was wrongly announced winner and the real Miss Universe Fiji was Nadine Roberts.
However, a statement released later in the day by Grant Dwyer MUF’s official organiser, said the original announcement was correct.
“Manshika Prasad was judged fairly, amongst the nine finalists, at the live crowning event on Friday, Agust 30, 2024, at the Pearl Resort in Fiji,” Mr Dwyer stated.
“The 7 official judges voted Manshika Prasad as the majority winner of the title.
“Manshika Prasad is the official winner of Miss Universe Fiji 2024.”
