The cruise ship calendar for the Port of Lautoka has been buzzing with its schedule of cruise line arrivals and departures.
According to the Cruise Mapper Website, P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Adventure arrived on our shores two days ago on August 19 for a 12-day round-trip Fiji adventure. The 23-year-old vessel has a passenger range capacity of 3174 with a total of 1100 crew members.
The 14-deck vessel departed Sydney on August 13 and arrived at Mystery Island Vanuatu on the August 17.
Formerly known as Dawn Princess, the Pacific Adventure was scheduled to arrive in Lautoka on August 19 before departing visiting Dravuni Island in Kadavu and returning to Sydney on August 25.
With a building cost of $1003 million, the Pacific Adventure boasts the Watrsila-Sulzer (63.4 MW/ 85021 hp)
Cruise Mapper stated the vessel was at the South Pacific Ocean heading to Lautoka with co-ordinates of 17.60497 S / 177.43772 E.
The Pacific Adventure will then embark for its nine-day round-trip Barrier Reef Discovery Cruise once it completes the 12 day round trip Fiji adventure.
The cruise liner will depart Sydney at 4pm on August 25.
It will then head to Queensland Australia before heading to Cairns.
The P&O cruise liner will then berth at Willis and Moreton Island before berthing at Sydney on September 3.
