The Labasa football team is ready to face 2024 Rooster Chicken/Scoop Ice Cream Battle of the Giants champions Lautoka FC, in the Digicel Fiji Premier League round-13 match at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow.
“I know that we have disappointed our fans in the tournaments this season, but in the league, we have shown consistency, and we need the support,” says Labasa head coach Ravneel Pratap.
Pratap mentioned the limited time available for preparation due to the quick transition from the Battle of the Giants tournament to DPL matches.
“We went down in the BOG, so the momentum is low, so we are working hard because playing in the League is different than playing in the tournaments,” said Pratap.
Coach acknowledged the formidable challenge posed by the champion team, especially given their solid lineup and the advantage of playing at home.
The match kicks off at 3pm.
Meanwhile, in other matches tomorrow, a double header at the Uprising Ground.
Suva takes on Tailevu Naitasiri at 1pm while Navua will clash against Ba at 3pm.
Also, at 3pm, Rewa will take on Nasinu at Ratu Cakobau Park.
In another match kicking off at 1pm, Nadi travels to play Nadroga at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
