ROOSTER Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants tournament champion FLiCK Hygiene Lautoka FC will host a special private dinner for players and sponsors at Northern Club in Lautoka this evening.
President Shalendra Prasad confirmed that no major celebration is planned due to the resumption of Digicel Premier League games, with Lautoka hosting Labasa on Sunday at Churchill Park at 3pm.
“We will have a private dinner for the families where we will distribute the prize money to the players and also acknowledge our sponsors,” Prasad said.
Lautoka won the BOG title after a lapse of eight years, defeating Smart & Efficient Security Services/Calgary Nadi 2-0 in the final at HFC Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Saula Waqa scored via a penalty in the 64th minute, and Sairusi Nalaubu secured the win in the 81st minute.
Lautoka now holds two titles this season, having previously won the Fiji FACT, and will host the IDC tournament.
