A network of bootlegger operators has been uncovered allegedly masterminding large-scale drug trafficking operations.

Divisional police commander Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka said black markets were closely associated with the illicit drug trade.

“We need to work together to eradicate drugs from our streets and villages,” he said.

“If you know there are some homes selling alcohol illegally, please do let us know,” he said.

Mr Baledrokadroka said they were tracking black market operations in Fiji.

“We need information on black markets that are operating so we can conduct our raid.

“If you know anyone operating a black market please report it to us.”
