The weekly Stapleford event at the Vatuwaqa golf course yesterday was met with lovely weather and a total of 90 starters.
Mohammed Buksh, the sponsorship chairman of Fiji Golf Club, expressed his appreciation for the turnout and the favorable conditions.
He mentioned the tough competition in the previous week and hoped for an even larger turnout in the future.
“I am thrilled to see so many golfers out here enjoying the fantastic weather.
“Last week’s tournament was tough, but it only makes me more excited for the competition to come,” said Buksh.
Buksh emphasized the growth of golf in Fiji and credited the sponsors for their support in making these tournaments possible.
“I am hopeful for an even larger turnout in the future, I look forward to seeing more players join us and have a great time on the course.”
