The Fiji Parliament yesterday passed the 2024-2025 Appropriation Bill 2024 (Bill No. 7 of 2024) to appropriate a sum of $3,955,819,479 for the year ending July 31, 2025.
The Bill was read a third time by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad before a vote was taken.
Thirty-nine MPs voted for the budget, 11 voted against while two abstained.
