Fiji heavyweight boxing champion James Singh has announced that the Blue Water Boxing Promotion will be his final local fight as he sets his sights on international competition in August and beyond.

Singh will once again face Semi Dauloloma, whom he defeated last year, for the heavyweight title in the main supporting bout.

While Dauloloma was not fully prepared during their previous encounter, Singh acknowledges that his opponent appears to be in better shape and more focused this time around.

“I see that he has put in the effort to get himself into better shape, he was quite big the last time we met, but he has evidently worked hard to improve his physique,” said Singh.

“It is also great to see Semi is now focused and quieted down and directed his energy towards preparing for our upcoming match.

“I extend my gratitude to all my supporters for their unwavering encouragement, despite any negativity circulating on social media, I remain concentrated on the upcoming battle.

Singh is confident in his abilities and is ready to prove himself in the international boxing scene.
