OUTRIGGER on the Lagoon Fiji Resort & Spa will soon be known as Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort.
Along with the name change came announcements by Outrigger Enterprises Group president and CEO David Carey of new amenities to be phased in all Outrigger resorts over the next few years.
The name change reflects a new focus by the group to become the world’s premier beachfront resort brand.
Mr Carey said the name change, effective April 1, was part of a new brand revitalisation by the Hawaii-based family company after 67 years in the leisure business.
“We know beachfront destinations and have the experience to do them better than anybody else,” he said.
“Our guests will be able to rediscover Outrigger with authentic, localised experiences in iconic destinations paired with unmatched hospitality.”
