A police officer who raped a woman last Sunday at a station’s single men’s quarters has been arrested.
And Acting Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci has directed the investigation file be submitted to the officer of the Director of the Public Prosecutions as soon as possible for independent legal advice.
He said investigations update on the progress of investigations by the Criminal Investigation Departments will be made “in due time”.
