Nareki returns for Drua clash

ALL three Fijians in the Highlanders squad have been named in the run-on team for the must-win game against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua on Sunday.

Former All Blacks 7s winger Jona Nareki has forced his way into the match-day squad and will start at left wing.

Bulldozing runner Timoci Tavatavanawai takes his usual position at right wing while Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens is at fullback.

Head coach Clarke Dermody has made various changes to his side with Ajay Falefaga replacing the injured Cameron Millar.

Sam Gilbert replaces the injured Tanielu Tele’a while Jake Te Hiwi shifts to centre, Connor Garden-Bachop re-joined the squad after a brief injury hiatus, and Matt Whaanga is on track for his second appearance in 2024.
