Fiji Bati star Tui Kamikamica will become just the 10th Fiji-born player to play 100 NRL games.

The prop will be running out for his 100th game for the Storm during Indigenous Round this weekend against the Manly Sea Eagles.

In an interview with Australian media, the Somosomo, Taveuni man was all smiles when sharing his anticipation for this huge milestone.

“It’s always good to play for the Storm especially growing up in Fiji, my dream was to play one NRL game and to be able to play 100 games for Melbourne is always a huge honour,” he said.

“Every time I go out there I try to make my family proud so it’s really a great honour to play a 100 games for Storm.”

Kamikamica made his NRL debut for the Storm in 2017 and he did not expect to be playing this many games.

“For me it doesn’t matter if I’m coming off the bench, I just want to do my role and do what is best for the team which is my goal in every game and still a long season to go,” he added.

Meanwhile, in this round Kamikamica and the Storm will wear the indigenous jersey and again in round 17 against the Raiders.

They face Manly on Friday at 10pm.
