The pools for the HSBC SVNS 2024 Championship in Madrid, Spain have been drawn and both Fiji teams find themselves in hot water.

Only the top eight teams on the standings for both men and women will see an exciting end to the series in Spain from May 31 to June 2.

The overall 2024 Championship crowns will be awarded to the teams that finish on top of the men’s and women’s podiums which means that all 16 qualified teams will travel to the Spanish capital with a shot at the title.

The Fiji Airways Fiji men’s 7s team has been drawn in Pool B alongside Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Ireland and New Zealand were the finalists from Singapore with the All Blacks 7s rising to the podium as eventual winners.

In men’s Pool A are Argentina, Australia, France and Great Britain.

Meanwhile, in the women’s category, the Fijiana 7s team has been pitted in Pool B with Australia, France, and Ireland.
