The State is waiting for the interview transcript of a farmer accused of killing a taxidriver last month.
Petero Uluilakeba, who is charged with a count of murder, appeared before Justice Peni Dalituicama at the High Court in Labasa yesterday.
Disclosures were ready, however, the State was yet to receive the transcript of Mr Uluilakeba’s interview from the Fiji Police Force.
Mr Uluilakeba was represented by lawyer Kalesi Marama.
Justice Dalituicama advised the accused to formally apply for his bail.
The 21-year-old is alleged to have killed a 58-year-old man in Tavuki, Taveuni, earlier last month. The case has been adjourned to June 8.
