Aseri Radrodro has been chosen as the new SODELPA leader.
And he has vowed to uphold and keep the Coalition Government partnership.
Party supporters who have left the meeting venue confirmed that Mr Radrodro has been named as party leader and he delivered his speech at the AGM held in the civic centre in Suva.
“Mr Radrodro apologised and told us that he will keep the Coalition Government relationship,” one member said.
“He also asked for forgiveness and said he wasn’t interested in taking up the post of Education Minister.”
