The Fiji Airways men’s 7s side remains in third spot on the HSBC SVNS Series standings despite finishing fifth at the Hong Kong event.
Fiji received 12 points for finishing fifth and have so far accumulated 76 points from six events.
Argentina still leads the standings with 94 points while Ireland remains in second spot with 86 points.
France has closed the gap on Fiji. France, in fourth position, has 74 points.
Two less than Fiji.
New Zealand is in fifth place with 73 points while Australia, with 69 points, is in sixth spot.
The Fiji Airways Fijiana side has moved to sixth spot with 54 points and are on track to qualify for the last tournament in Madrid, Spain.
New Zealand leads the women’s standings with 106 points, Australia is second with 106 points, however, New Zealand leads with a better points differential.
France is in third slot with 88 points while USA is fourth with 82 points.
