The Cakaudrove Provincial Council meeting is underway at the Bose Ni vakaturaga in Somosomo, Taveuni.
The meeting will be opened by chair and paramount chief of Cakaudrove Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and Minister for Health Dr Atonio Lalabalavu are also part of the two-day meeting.
On his Facebook page, Ratu Naiqama said the main agenda of the two-day meeting would be the presentation of the provincial council proposed budget for the financial year 2024 to 2025.
He said there would be a presentation also by the provincial administrator of Cakaudrove on the development updates within the province.
