The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua is on eighth place in the Super Rugby Pacific standings and is eager to improve as competition progresses.

The Drua have nine points, while the Hurricanes top the table with 22 points. Both the Chiefs and Brumbies have 18 points, but the Chiefs hold second place with a better points difference of 56, while the Brumbies are on third place with 41 points.

Meanwhile, Drua head coach Mick Byrne has stressed that moving forward, they will need to enhance their discipline, set pieces and defence.

“Our target is to get our game right, get our set pieces right. We have prepared well this week.

“The main thing for us is to get across the line, get our plays in the game early, get ourselves carrying forward,” Byrne said.

The Drua are aware of the fast paced play that the Western Force will bring tomorrow.

“Western Force will bring some line speed but the big one for us is to look after the ball when we get it. When it reaches our defence line, we got to change it,” Byrne said.

There are no major injury worries in the team as they prepare for the Force tomorrow.
