Visitor earnings were estimated at $195 million in February with 54,732 tourist arrivals, Tourism Fiji has announced.
This was a 15.8 per cent increase when compared to February last year.
However, it was a 22.2 per cent drop compared to January 2024, which recorded a total 70,324.
Of the 54,732 visitors, 54,206 came by air while 526 came by sea.
The sea arrivals were mostly seamen on fishing vessels.
73 per cent of travellers came for holidays, while others visited friends, family, or for business.
20,405 tourists came from Australia, 9253 were New Zealanders, 7684 came from United States, 3692 arrived from China, 2,101 tourists came from Continental Europe, 1930 were Canadians and 943 were from Great Britain.
