Sila work on going one up at zone

Sila Central High School has set high expectations for the upcoming Triple N Zone competition where they hope to finish one better from last year.

With former national long-distance runner Esala Talebula in their corner, the Nausori-based school will be out to challenge Lelean Memorial School and Adi Cakobau School in the zone competition.

“We came fourth in both the girls and boys’ division, and this year we want to improve our performance and move one step higher,” he said.

The school had their inter-house competition at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday which featured more than 400 students.

Meanwhile, in the school’s inter-house competition, Romovoko House took top honours after bagging 35 gold, 28 silver, and 22 bronze. In second place , Kaunitera House won 27 gold, 32 silver, and 21 bronze while Duiyabaki House was third with 21 gold, 17 silver, and 19 gold.

Kaunitoni House came in fourth place with 19 gold, 20 silver and 26 bronze.
