NOT content with producing gadgets for humans, Motorola will focus on pet dogs with this CES release. The Scout 5000 is a smart dog collar with a wide-angle camera, GPS chip, and wireless internet connection. It can be connected to a smartphone over wi-fi to stream live video from the dog’s collar, to notify the dog’s owner of its barking, and to track a puppy’s location.

The tracker will cost $US199 ($F409.62) when it is released in April, this year.
