Following their upset loss to Macuata in round two of the Skipper Cup competition last weekend, Nadi Rugby is focused on getting back to winning ways when they face Namosi at Prince Charles Park this Friday in round three of the competition.

“The boys need to pull up their socks as the focus was not there against Macuata,” said Nadi rugby manager Epeli Qoro.

He said lack of discipline against cost them the game as they were penalised on a number of occasions.

“We have to be disciplined and are calling on the home fans to come out in numbers to support the boys.

“We made simple mistakes in our defence and in our line-outs, which we hope to work on.”

Qoro urged the fans to be patient as the season is long ahead of them.

“Just like any other team, our aim is to be there in the top four and fight for the win.

“This is just the start and we are requesting fans to be patient with us.”

Nadi is co-coached by Saula Rabaka and Aca Bibi.

The match kicks off at 5pm.

In other round 3 matches on Saturday, Suva hosts Yasawa, Tailevu travels to Ba, Lautoka faces Macuata at home, and Nadroga faces Naitasiri at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
