Pauline Madanavosa is the new Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions.
Acting DPP John Rabuku announced the appointment via a statement today.
Ms Madanavosa joined the DPP as a legal officer in 2003 after graduating from USP, and worked her way up to the post of Principal Legal Officer; and in 2009 she was appointed Manager for the Child Protection Division that specialised in prosecuting sexual offences against children.
She was then promoted to the role of manager for the newly established appeals division at the DPP in 2018, and at present oversees the training of prosecutors both internally and overseas.
Mr Rabuku also announced the appointments of Meli Vosawale and Laisani Tabuakuro as Acting Assistant DPPs.
