A series of celebrations dedicated to marking Ram Lalla Utsav in the country over the past week.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Professor Biman Prasad also officiated at these programs and said the event held a special significance as it aligned with the inauguration of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India.
Prof Prasad also stressed that the celebration had coincided with the inauguration and captured the attention of many people around the world.
He said the Fijian Indian community could also use the celebration as an opportunity to teach the younger ones more about their heritage and culture.
