The Fiji Immigration Department will not be accepting cash and cheque from January 29.
The Department said only EFTPOS and M-Paisa methods of payment will be accepted at all Immigration offices.
“This is in line with the Government initiative for a cash less system to ensure effective and efficient management of public funds as well as to promote transparency and accountability,” said the Department.
