PM Rabuka tours military and naval headquarters

Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka made his official visit to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Strategic Headquarters (SHQ) at Berkely Crescent, Suva, Headquarters Land Force Command (HQ LFC) at QEB Barracks, Nabua and Headquarters Navy, RFN Stanley Brown, Walu Bay, Suva today.

The visit was to set a platform for discussions on activities related to national security, military preparedness, and strategic initiatives.

It is also centered on fostering a stronger understanding between the Government and RFMF while highlighting the collaborative efforts towards the nation’s security and well-being of all Fijians.

Mr Rabuka was welcomed by RFMF Commander Major-General Jone Kalouniwai at Berkely Crescent and Commander Fiji Navy Captain Humphrey Tawake at Walu Bay.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Defence Minister Pio Tikoduadua and Defence Ministry permanent secretary Mason Smith.
