Powerhouses Collins Injera and Dan Norton unveil interesting picks for McDonald’s All-Star Team for 2024 Coral Coast 7s.
Former Kenya Rugby 7s captain Collins Injera has selected teammate Billy Odhiambo while former England 7s rugby winger Dan Norton picks Belgium rugby 7s player Gaspard Lalli.
“I’m excited to announce my nominee for the Coral Coast 7s and its Billy Odhiambo, I have nominated Billy because he is an outstanding rugby player,” Injera said.
“He doesn’t only show good sportsmanship on the field but off the field as well.
“Billy shows teamwork, resilience and generosity he is also an explosive player by his tactical understanding of the game makes him a perfect player and I believe he is a perfect candidate to represent me at the Coral Coast 7s,” the former Kenyan international added. ”
I believe Billy will be able to share his experience with a young team that has been formed.”
Norton has chosen Belgium player Lalli to be part of the McDonalds selection.
“I’m excited to announce that my McDonald All Star team pick is Gaspard Lalli, he’s a Belgium rugby 7s player and he has been playing for a few years, one of the standout players,” Norton said.
“He’s a very strong finisher, he’s a great player on and off the field and I can’t wait to see him out there and can’t wait to see all you guys soon, stay safe.”
