World AIDS Day was celebrated at the Fiji National University campus in Nasinu yesterday with the theme “Let Communities Lead”.
UNAIDS Country director Renata Ram said the theme was not just a slogan but a call to action, a reminder of the power and importance of community-led responses in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Schools, civil society organisation, the Health Ministry and non-governmental organisations were part of the commemoration march.
