The Fiji football men’s side claimed bronze in the 17th Pacific Games after beating Vanuatu 4-2 in the 3/4th play-off at the iconic Lawson Tama ground in Honiara, Solomon Islands.
Trailing 2-1 at halftime with a goal to Thomas Dunn, Fiji had to dig deep in the second spell.
Some stern words from experience player, Tevita Waranaivalu changed the course for the national side as they scored three more goals to Dunn, Nabil Begg and Merill Nand to bring home the bronze medal.
