FIJI Development Bank CEO Saud Minam and Leadership Fiji CEO Sharyne Fong today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen Leadership Fiji’s capacity to support and empower Fijian leaders through its various training programs.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr Minam said the FDB is committed to supporting Leadership Fiji’s mission in developing the next generation of Fijian leaders.
“Leadership Fiji’s programs provide the participants with the skills and knowledge to become effective leaders in their organisations, communities and beyond,” he said in a press statement.
“Therefore, we are proud to be part of this partnership and look forward to the positive outcomes it will bring for our country.
“This MoU is a positive step forward in the development of leaders in Fiji. It is a testament to the commitment of both FDB and Leadership Fiji to the growth and prosperity of the nation.”
Leadership Fiji CEO Ms Fong says they value the support given by FDB and the MoU “is an exciting new partnership for our organization.”
“As an outcome of this partnership, Leadership Fiji is utilizing and has access to the Fiji Development Bank Training room where we have been hosting our Leadership Fiji 2023 Program Sessions.
“Leadership Fiji has evolved over the years and through partnerships such as this it assists with strengthening our programs and achieving our strategic vision of establishing a Leadership Academy and Centre for Fiji and the Pacific to expand its offering of leadership programs from its current core leadership program to across all levels of society”.
