The Fiji Pearls netball team received an incredibly thoughtful gesture from the Motibhai Group as they prepare for the highly anticipated World Cup meet in Cape Town, South Africa.

The company presented the girls with Dove hampers, which will not only provide them with essential items, but also serve as a testament to the support the team has.

Abraham Gomes, the group’s marketing manager and business development manager, said he was sure the hampers would be useful as the girls leave for South Africa this Thursday.

“This is for every player’s benefit, which means you can play comfortably and confidently,” he said.

He wished them well in their preparation and in the competition.

Netball Fiji CEO Vivian Koster said they appreciated the contribution as it meant the girls would not have to worry about their lotion or deodorant.

“Big thanks to Motibhai Group for providing this for us,” said Koster.

“Thank you for the personal touch because these are personal products and I know the players appreciate it very much.”

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Tonga and Zimbabwe at the tournament.
